A fourteen year contract between Noah Webster and Barzillai and Henry Hudson of the Hudson Co. of Hartford Conn., assigning "the sole and exculsive right of printing, publishing and vending his American Spelling Book." Also includes a Henry Hudson stipulation for Noah Webster's son "William G. Webster as an apprentice or clerk".
